Bence Vas is a composer, Hammond organist, leader of OrganismVas Bence Trio and Vas/Bukowski/Szmańda Trio and painter. He recorded six albums: “Pictures of the Day” (2014) and “Praise the Notes” (2016) – with Organism,  “Organic Impressions” (2017) – with Organism and big band  (an experimental orchestral piece in three parts, written by himself), „Looked at all Aspects” (2020) – with Organism, Vas Bence Trio and guest vibraphonist Marcin Pater, „overture et al.” (2020) – with big band and „Open – Closed Principle” (2022) – with Vas/Bukowski/Szmańda Trio. Bence Vas has performed at venues and festivals in various European cities such as Prague, Berlin, Stuttgart, Budapest, Cracow, Warsaw, Szczecin or Kielce and played alongside some of the important figures of contemporary jazz scene such as Grammy-nominated Brian Charette, Kornél Fekete-Kovács, Kajetan Galas, Krzysztof Szmańda and Dominik Bukowski. Currently he is living and working in Poland.
